This is contract work Jessica does outside the laboratory. She annotates and evaluates training data across video, image, document, data and word-level tasks for AI model development. Mercor AI is an active contract, Micro1 has certified her, and Alignerr and OpenTrain account for the rest. The platforms she works in are CVAT, Labelbox and Roboflow. Coordination runs through Slack, Discord, Hubstaff and Insightful, which is how distributed annotation work is actually managed. She keeps this work off her public research profiles apart from the Micro1 certification on LinkedIn, because what she chooses to show there stays deliberately research-focused. It is listed because it is real, current, and the basis of her machine learning entry. It also runs alongside a degree she has financed through her own concurrent employment since arriving in Germany.
