Collaborates with interdisciplinary research teams to advance cellular diagnostics in precision medicine, presenting preliminary findings and progress updates to supervisors and the wider research team in regular meetings. Engages with mentors and peers to refine experimental methodologies and validate research approaches, and organises early-stage data collection for work on regenerative medicine and tissue diagnostics. Participates in the analysis and interpretation of data relating to macrophage phenotypes in inflammatory conditions, documents key findings and workflows to support knowledge sharing across research teams, and contributes to the development of research protocols aligned with project objectives and compliance standards. Day-to-day work spans cell culture, immunofluorescence staining, and chondrogenic phenotype research under inflammatory conditions; data analysis in Excel, VBA, R, and SigmaPlot; structured literature review; high-content single-cell image analysis; and training and supervising incoming laboratory interns. From January to August 2025 this role sat at research-intern level, moving into the thesis-phase researcher role from August 2025.
